Dr. James Miner, MD

James Miner, MD is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and specializes in coronary artery disease, cholesterol treatment and hypertension. He received his medical degree from Indiana University Medical School and completed his internship and residency at the University of Florida Jacksonville campus where he capped his tenure as Chief Resident, then continued with his cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Miner previously served as a Clinical Professor at the UF College of Medicine and was appointed Director of Clinical Cardiology at the Memorial Medical Center in Jacksonville. He brings more than 30 years of experience to his current practice and is a noted researcher in seeking new advancements in cardiovascular science. Early in his private practice, Dr. Miner founded the Nielsen Organ Transplant Foundation in Jacksonville, Fl.
